Just starting

This is my first post, so I feel the need to fill you in on who I am and what I do. My name is Nathan Snyder. I am currently an advertising student at WVU and I am planning on studying art at some point. I love to paint and draw and all that comes with it. I've only been painting since June 2009 and before then I had never picked up a brush or pencil with any intent to create anything, let alone art. I used to be a musician, but when I found painting it simply consumed my life and I sold all of my musical equipment for art supplies. Painting is something I want to do for the rest of my life, whether it is my career or just something I do for fun. I have already had 3 paintings in a local show at Arts Mon. here in Morgantown and they have invited me back again to do another show later this year, I'm excited. I hope you enjoy my work and I'll be posting my new stuff as I go. Thanks for looking.
